VIDI announces Plamen Yankov as Business Development Director East Europe

VIDI GmbH in Darmstadt is happy to announce the appointment of Plamen Yankov as Business Development Director East Europe. This appointment is to support the growth of VIDI services and system delivery, its further development and expansion, primarily in Eastern Europe.

His main responsibility will be active business development and sales of VIDI services and turnkey systems towards customers, such as fiber based media networks, systems for the delivery of signals and synchronization to DTT towers as well as the newly released VIDI NMS 2.0.

Plamen Yankov will be based in Sofia, Bulgaria and will report to Bernd Meinl, Sales Director of VIDI.

"We are very pleased having Plamen in our sales team and expect him to develop a solid customer base for VIDI." said Bernd Meinl, Sales Director of VIDI, “During last years, VIDI business has been well growing and developing in West Europe and Russia and we are very well established in DACH territories. Now we look forward to do the same in East Europe. To support this expansion, we are establishing a dedicated sales team for East Europe.”

Prior to joining VIDI, Plamen Yankov was sales manager in different media and broadcast companies, developing their international business and sales networks worldwide.
